Intern Testimonials

Made Woman Magazine has by far been the best internship I've had the opportunity to do. I promise you that's not me embellishing it either! Being the Social Media/SEO intern, I was allowed the opportunity to apply the social media and promotional skills I already knew, while definitely learning lots of new things each day. I highly recommend this internship for young women who are wanting to push themselves! Working with Made Woman Magazine and the talent that comes with it really secured me knowing what I want to do when I graduate college in May. -- Malorie

My internship with MW Mag truly equipped me for my future career as a journalist. It actually was what sparked my interest in a social media career in the future! Serena and Lindsey are so flexible and let you gain experience in whatever area interests you most. I was able to edit articles, write posts for social media, conduct research and even write an article! I highly recommend interning for MW Mag! -- Allison

Interning with Made Woman Magazine was an amazing opportunity that was one of the best experiences in my college career thus far. It taught me so much not only about the journalism and business fields, but also about life and who I want to be. Made Woman Magazine is filled with articles that encourage woman to be the best they can be, and what a quality Made woman is. I learned so much from the successful businesswomen working at MWW which will help me take my college degree to the next level. I learned not only information about this industry, but also about how to be a classy and responsible employee for wherever my life takes me. I am so thankful for this experience, and would encourage anyone to intern with Made Woman Magazine and be granted with a once in a lifetime internship opportunity.  -- Ana

Made Woman

Made Woman Magazine was founded in 2009 by Lindsey Day and Serena Watson. Troubled by the lack of diverse representations of females in magazines, they set out with a unique vision to create a platform for young professional women to connect and grow together. Together, they built the Made Woman team: a collective of strong, witty and opinionated women devoted to writing about the issues that affect women's daily lives. More than two years later, Made Woman is becoming a lifestyle brand focused on spreading positivity, humor, and relevant information throughout the digital world and beyond.
